Dentra Core

Downloading the work

The design file is yours: you download it and have it produced wherever you prefer.

Downloading the files

When the order is Delivered, every file in the Delivery panel has its own “Download” button. To get all the files at once use “Download all”: you download a ZIP archive that also contains the files you can't see in 3D, such as the design project file when there is one.

The files stay on the order page: you can download them again later. During the review the design can be viewed in 3D but not downloaded.

Your lab handles the file deliveryYou came to Dentra through a laboratory that delivers the files itself: the laboratory gives them to you.

Producing the work

You print or mill the design file wherever you like: in your practice, with your own printer or milling machine, or at the laboratory you work with. The work files are in standard 3D formats: you open them in your milling machine's or printer's software, or send them to the laboratory.

Requesting a change after delivery

Even once the work is delivered, you'll find “Request a change” on the item: you draw the areas to fix on the model and write what to change, just like during the review.

Once it's sent the order goes back: it's no longer Delivered, and in the list and on its page it shows in red, “Change in progress”. Meanwhile, the files we delivered to you stay available to download. Then you get the corrected design to review, or a reply from us: see after the request. The order is invoiced in the month it's Delivered again.

The rules are the same as in the review: the first change on each item is free, every further one costs €5.00 and goes on your end-of-month invoice. If you already used the free change during the review, the one after delivery is paid.

After delivery you can request a change until the item is invoiced, usually until the end-of-month invoice. From then on the “Request a change” button disappears: for new work, place a new order or write to us.

Sending it to Oralsnap

If you use the Oralsnap app, “Send to Oralsnap” sends the finished work, the scans and the photos to the patient's record in the app. The patient's name is only sent if you tick “Also send the patient's first and last name”; otherwise the code is sent and you match it in the app.

If you've already connected your Oralsnap account, the button is there in every order status except Cancelled, so you can see the case moving forward. If you haven't connected it, the invitation appears once the work is delivered.

Creating models to print

Once the work is delivered, “Create the models” opens Oralsnap Model with this order's arches already loaded. There you decide how the model should come out; when you save it, it goes back among the order's files, ready to print. Without an Oralsnap plan the model comes out with the Dentra and Oralsnap logos engraved on the base.

The signed prescription

On the order page, under Details, you can read the signed prescription again: patient, clinical indication, prescriber and date of signature. When the PDF is available, you download it from there and attach it to the device documentation.
